I am highly organised, understand the logistics and necessities required throughout the production process, and love working with people.
I have primarily worked as a Production Assistant; for example on adverts for HayuTV and Everlast, and for scripted productions such as ‘REACH!’ and ‘One Drop’. Most recently, I worked as a Production Assistant on the featurette Glasshouses, produced by Richard Whelan and Dark Chamber Media, in which I was heavily involved throughout pre-production as well as on set.
I also have experience script supervising for short films such as Red Planet Blue, which required a huge amount of attention to detail and knowledge of the filmmaking process. Most recently, I script supervised for the BFI funded short film For Better, and am hoping to get some trainee experience soon.
I have also been giving production training through the All Spring Media Production Assistant training course, and the Disney Crew Academy which was in collaboration with Pinewood Studios and the NFTS. This allowed me to gain a lot more skills and knowledge about the production process, technical skills, and general etiquette and behaviour that is expected in this industry. I have a lot of experience working in a team and feel that I am good and anticipating needs and staying one step ahead of any potential issues.
Additionally, during my last year at uni I stood as president of the University of Manchester Filmmaking Society. This role required me to oversee the production of thirteen short films, organise and manage over a hundred people across different crews, lead a committee of eight people, and organise a two-day film festival and awards ceremony accommodating two hundred guests. On top of having to be incredibly organised and dedicated, given the amount of time and energy the role has required, I have learnt the technical and operational skills of every production department and am highly proficient in both Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, as well as other Adobe programs. I was also awarded the Highly Commended Leader of the Year award by the Student Union in 2023.
I am now looking for Script Supervising or AD department experience, and am available for any production opportunities.
