I am a recent university graduate from The University of Bristol (Liberal Arts, 1st) with experience and passion for production and filmmaking.

I am the co-founder of a music events company called 'The Constitution' (@theconstitutionltd) which specialises in immersive/ interactive club nights. Since starting a few years ago, business has come to host sold events at some of the biggest venues in Bristol. Our nights are unique for their interactive entertainment: from scavenger hunts to mock elections, acrobatics to science experiments. From this self-started project, I have gained strong experience in 'making things happen', i.e. taking ideas, developing them, orchestrating moving parts to come together in a successful end product.

About 18 months ago, a documentary class re-ignited my childhood interest in filmmaking. Since then, I have taken two practical units a on Bristol's Film MA course; and made two further films during my free time. As a result, I have quickly gained experience in the fundamental filmmaking skills (camera, light, sound etc.); skills that aren't afar from my experience in music event production. I took the role of producer on all of these projects, and have collated some of them under the DIY production banner: 'Roots Up Productions' (link to films). One of my films, Grieved, won an award at the Golden FEMIs in Bulgaria.

All in all, I have experience in organising and successfully executing productions; working under pressure and through long/ unusual hours; a variety of technical, business, creative and people skills; and a grit and determination that makes me a valuable member of any team.
