I graduated from the National Film and Television School in 2003 and have been fortunate enough to work on some fantastic productions over the past 21 years. My first credit was as Associate Producer on BBC1's Panorama: What future for Kurt?. I then worked as DV Director on Who’s the Daddy? part of the BBC One Life Strand. For 2 years I worked in-house as DV Director on the BAFTA nominated BBC series Honour Kills. We filmed 5 major investigations from emergency 999 call through to trial. For a further two years I worked as a Shooting Director on a further series about Honour focusing more specifically on Forced Marriage: My Forced Unwanted Wedding and Kidnapped and Drugged for Family Honour. In 2011 and 2012 I worked on Blast!'s C4 Coppers series and 999: What’s your Emergency? Then, for RDF, I worked on several of Channel 4's most popular series: Secrets of the Shoplifters and Secrets of the Pickpockets (Abroad). Returning to Blast! I worked on the BBC 1 one-off Meet the Landlords. In 2013 I worked as a Shooting PD on Channels 5’s Benidorm ER series. In 2014 I worked at Leopard Films as Shooting P/D on a 10 part Sky series about the Frontline Services use of Body Cameras: Brit Cam: Emergency on our Streets. I also shot for Blast! Films on their C4 series Help My Kid Get Better. Working for BBC Wales I PD’ed on a new series called The Wanted following the work of GMP’s Organised Crime Division who locate and arrest Manchester’s most wanted. In Feb 2015 I worked for Wall to Wall as a Shooting Producer on National Geographic’s Drugs Inc. We shot in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. After that I worked as a Shooting PD on a three part series for ITV about a fishing village in Cornwall, Trawlerman Tales. For the reaminder of 2015 I worked in Australia filming British Police Officers, Doctors, Paramedics and Pilots who moved to Australia to pursue their careers in the Emergency Services. I filmed with Western Australia Police, NSW Ambulance Service, Royal Flying Doctors Service and Westpac Aero-Medical Services (Areoplanes and Helicopters) for the BBC 1 Series Emergency Rescue Down Under.


Since 2016 I have consistently worked for True North as Senior PD on Channels 4's Daytime output: A New Life in the Sun and Help! We Bought a Village. I've combined that with long stints abroad for International Broadcasters and Production Companies: Frontier Borneo (Discovery Asia), Rocky Mountain Railroad (Discovery), Ice Airport Alaska (Smithsonian) and the Contraband strand (Discovery). I've also continued working on Police Series: Traffic Cops (BBC and C5), Police Interceptors (C5) The Force (Sky), and 999: What's your Emergency? (C4) Read Less
