I grew up in Bhopal, India, a city nestled in the heart of the country and surrounded by remarkable biodiversity. From an early age, I was captivated by the region’s rich flora and fauna. Some of my most vivid childhood memories are of wandering through the city’s national park, spellbound by sightings of the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Asiatic Lion. These formative experiences sparked a deep fascination with India’s indigenous wildlife and set me on the path to a career in wildlife photography and filmmaking.

My professional journey began in 2020 with the Madhya Pradesh Tiger Foundation Society, where I worked on Kuno: The Forgotten Pride—a film celebrating the untouched beauty of Kuno National Park. The project refined my skills in operating advanced camera systems and drones, allowing me to capture animal behavior in its most authentic form.

Since then, I’ve worked as a camera operator and drone pilot for Bright Tiger Productions, collaborating with acclaimed production houses such as John Downer Productions, Radical Media, and Discovery. One of the defining moments of my career was documenting the landmark reintroduction of cheetahs to India—an event marked by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A recent graduate of the National Film and Television School, I remain driven by a commitment to telling stories that delve into the nuanced and emotional relationships between humans and the wild. Read Less
