I’m a Prime Video Trainee based in London, with an especial curiosity for development, production and camera roles in unscripted TV, and production coordinator and assistant director roles in scripted. Before securing a place on this Traineeship, I chose to get my foot in the film and TV door after working across a range of industries and completing a Masters in Visual Anthropology, and the diverse variety of teams and perspectives I worked with really reinforced my drive to share stories.
I have a years' experience working in unscripted TV and handling a variety of situations and locations, from production running on BBC One's 'Sort Your Life Out', to work experience as a runner/ researcher on VTs for 'The One Show' with a handful of high profile talent. Most notably, bringing Broadcast TV events such as the National Lottery's Olympic and Paralympic GB Homecomings to life, supporting the production team as Talent Liaison for world-famous groups such as Cirque du Soleil.
I'm equally proud of all the projects my work has helped produce, from short documentaries exploring PMDD and the UK Riots in 2024, to scripted shorts delving into gambling addiction and the loss of a child. The process of producing, directing and editing my own projects, such as my short documentary looking at refuse collectors and my music showreel for the function band 'Marmots', has pushed my grasp of filmmaking to even greater heights. My storytelling perspective has been informed by my academic background in Social and Visual Anthropology, as well as my experiences working across a diverse range of industries, such as refuse collection, childcare, SEND education, and hospitality. I love to tell stories that provoke change and ultimately bring people together.
I have volunteered at a number of film festivals, in roles ranging from runner and venue crew, to videographer and film crew. The festivals I have helped deliver are Sheffield DocFest 2023 and 2024, Manchester International Film Festival, London Breeze Film Festival, and Norwich Film Festival. I am currently volunteering as a submission reviewer for Norwich Film Festival 2025.
I provide:
- A can-do attitude even in the most difficult or sensitive of times on production.
- An attentive eye for the details and any problems that arise.
- A proven track record of creative thinking on the fly to work out said problems and deliver projects .
- An ever-open pair of ears to listen to and support the team bringing projects to life.
