She is a trained theatre and voice actor with a multitude of corporate, commercial and audiobook projects under her belt. Previous voiceover clients include: Lego Group, Vodafone, NHS, Guide Dogs UK and EDF Energy.
Rachel started her professional career by co-launching a small-scale theatre company, ‘Dangerous Baggage’ funded by East Midlands Arts and touring across the UK and to festivals in Cologne, Germany and Caracas and Venezuela and as a freelance performer, performed with companies such as Reckless Sleepers, Gary Stevens and Living Sculptures.
Moving into the cultural sector as an event producer, writer and project manager, Rachel amassed over 20 years of industry experience working on creative projects and loves the camaraderie of working in a creative team to achieve ambitious results.
Her move back into the world of performance as a voice actor, has allowed Rachel to bring all her previous experience to bare and she now relishes every opportunity to continue telling stories; revealing the heart and personality behind any script.
Rachel received two VOX nominations in 2023 and continues to keep her voiceover skills sharp with coaching and training. She has trained with Gravy for the Brain, Emily Jardine, Stephane Cornicard, Dian Perry and Helen Lloyd.
