here. Though most of my work has been as a magazine assignment photographer, I'm seeking work in the documentary film and TV space. In conducting scientific research in Africa and producing a number of magazine stories, I've built a skillset in finding, conceptualizing, researching and executing in-depth storytelling projects.
I’m interested in stories at the interface between humans and nature, and am passionate about investigating how people and wildlife are adapting to our changing planet. I’m a National Geographic Explorer, Fulbright-National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellow, International League of Conservation Photographers Fellow, and Women Photograph member, as well as a National Geographic Expeditions trip leader, photo instructor, speaker and teacher. My publications include National Geographic, New York Times, BBC Wildlife, and others. I have been a category winner and a judge at Wildlife Photographer of the Year with further awards from Wildscreen, Nature’s Best, Big Picture, and others.
