I started my career as a journalist with STV News in Glasgow. Moving on to a successful filmmaking and television career working in London for GMTV, LWT and ITV, then moving back to Glasgow to work for BBC, STV, Endemol, WarkClements and Tern TV.

After having my first child - I wanted the freedom to work for myself, so I moved from programme-making to start my company, Bowery Productions. The company went on to win awards and was recently featured in Vogue Magazine. www.boweryproductions.tv

I have produced a BAFTA-winning documentary and a BAFTA-nominated documentary for the BBC.
I also enjoy mentoring young people interested in a television career.

I recently directed the first of a three-part documentary series on Street Gangs for Tern Television. It was very well received, featured on the home page of the iPlayer, and a clip I produced and directed went viral on social media.

During 2020/21, while in lockdown and unable to work, I trained to be a Yoga Teacher. Graduating in Kundalini Yoga, certified by the Yoga Alliance UK. Allowing me to offer yoga to vulnerable people in the hope that I can support their wellbeing. I also teach classes to raise money for charities.

As my children got older, I went back into television as a director and now enjoy working between my company and film/programme making.
