I aspire to present emerging science in an accessible way to make an impactful difference in conservation and ecology. I am currently pursuing my passion of engaging the wider public in conservation by participating in a Masters in Science and Communication. Through this Master's course I have practically learnt to present science through various mediums such as podcasts, short films, social media and print journailsm.
My involvement as an Avon Wildlife Trust speaker volunteer and Bristol Zoo public engagement volunteer has honed my presentation and communication skills, allowing me to inspire positive change through talks, litter picks and various other conservation activities
My experience as a waitress has sharpened my organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Juggling tasks efficiently, prioritizing, and managing time effectively have become second nature, particularly after managing the front of house independently and managing large wedding parties.
Combining my diverse background as a waitress, volunteer, and zoologist with my passion for wildlife, I aim to transition into wildlife filmmaking to inspire positive change. With methodical research skills from my degrees and practical experience in the industry, I hope to craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences, fostering a deeper connection with nature and advocating for conservation efforts
