Her expertise and over twenty years of experience have allowed her to work with many leading global brands, photographers, magazines, restaurants and production companies. Her work encompasses everything from recipe development, props sourcing, concept development, floral/event design, location scouting and full production services.
Rachelle studied Model Making and Scenic Construction at the prestigious Wimbledon School of Art. After graduation Rachelle initially worked in the creation of visual floral displays. She worked on celebrity events for Elton John and London Fashion Week in the UK and her projects have taken her to Belgium, Egypt, Greece and the United States. In 2002 she relocated to San Francisco and her time there included events and projects for the Museum Of Modern Art, Oprah Winfrey, George Lucas and the Getty family. Her time in San Francisco also gave her the opportunity to further develop her culinary expertise, to discover new recipes/cuisines and strengthen her love of cooking.
Rachelle returned to the UK in 2011. During this period her time was divided between projects as a food/props stylist for TV/commercials and as a floral designer. She also taught cooking, blogged for her own website lovelearncook.com and developed recipes for brands and magazine features including food styling a project for the National Geographic Food and Travel magazine. Her work as a food stylist and home economist for various TV shows included ‘The Spice Trip’, ‘The Fabulous Baker Brothers’, ‘Valentine Warner’s Scandinavia’ and ‘Paul Hollywood Bakes’ with production companies such as Love; Betty Productions; Rockabox and Alchemy . She has acted as a consultant for Unilever in New York and London in the development of new products for their brands Walls, Twinings and Knorr Foods. With Chrome Productions Rachelle was food/props stylist on projects for TUI, Stiehl and the Womens Rugby Football Union.
Since 2012 Rachelle has worked closely with the internationally renowned Artist/Photographer Mark Neville as his production/photographic assistant. Their first collaboration was a project called “Here is London” for the New York Times and was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. Since then Rachelle has helped develop, produce and style many projects with Mark - most recently producing and prop styling a shoot for Vanity Fair to mark the release of the film - “Downton Abbey”. Rachelle has been credited in a number of Mark Neville’s publications including ‘London Pittsburgh’ and ‘Fancy Pictures’.
Rachelle is recognised for her diverse skill set, styling, props and flowers while her time cooking in a professional capacity as chef. She is a calm and skilled multitasking ‘one stop shop for creativity’. She is always about creating beautiful stand-out images for her clients who continue to re-commission her for her flexible working style and ability to stay calm on projects from start to finish.
