Read MoreAdopted from China by white British parents at the age of 1, I have often struggled with my identity. It has always been the arts that has provided me with the outlet I needed to come closer to finding where I might belong in society – it has always been the place I feel most comfortable and at ease. I have found solace by engaging deeply with so many different forms of art since as long as I can remember; particularly Film and Television.
I have always known I wanted to be immersed in this world, not only in my spare time but also in a capacity where I can impact others who may feel similarly to me, whilst simultaneously making a living in the industry I love the most.
Having trained to degree level in Stage Management and gone on to work as an ASM at the National Theatre straight out of drama school, under the direction of Sam Mendes, I have gained an enormous number of transferable skills to thrive in the Film & TV industry, and hope to pursue a long career following this path.
