Berina holds a Masters degree in International Relations and European Studies, with Marketing and Business Administration as her minor. Her most recent experience was in the role of Content Producer (DACH region) for bwin, within the Marketing Communications team at Entain. Entain is listed on London Stock Exchange, and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. 

Since 2019, Berina has also been part of a global project 'Changing the Story', UK, under which she directed and and produced a short documentary that premiered at Bridport's first ever International Youth Short Film Festival and at King’s College London as part of its ESRC Festival of Social Science.
