Read MoreI have just concluded a year as an agent’s assistant in UTA’s Global Comedy Team, and having ‘graduated’ the rigorous programme I am seeking to transition into the commissioning and development side of film & television. I have been working on the agency / representation of entertainment for almost two years, first at YMU and then as an assistant to a comedy agent at UTA. This time provided invaluable insight into global entertainment - production, demographics, new markets and purchasing trends, but it was always my aim to transition to the development & production side once I’d gained the requisite experience. I interned at Big Talk, and was praised for my development abilities, which I continued to hone at YMU and UTA (albeit from a client-side perspective).I have also worked as development assistant to Harry Bradbeer (2023-2025), including shaping the script for his current project, the drama Eight Perfect Murders. I’m an occasional stand up comedian (reaching the finals of Chortle’s Student Comedy Competition in 2023). I am producing a dramatic short about Alzheimers and loss called No Trousers, and developed the upcoming musical comedy short Stuck.
