I am a Documentary Producer Director with strong editorial and journalistic instincts and a passion for telling important human stories with compelling contributors. Currently I am PD-ing a three-part series for Sky at the award-winning 72 Films. I am experienced in development through to post, and can shoot (C300, FX3 (my own), FX6, FX9, FS7). 

My recent credits include producing a 3-part series Free Nelson Mandela (W/T) for Channel 4, The Search for Nicola Bulley for the BBC (Nominated for Best Single Documentary - Domestic at Griersons 2025 | 5* from The Times, 4* from The Telegraph, Daily Mail and The i | 3rd most watched Factual Programme in the UK in 2024), the high-profile investigation Russell Brand: In Plain Sight for Channel 4 Dispatches (Winner of Best Current Affairs Programme at Broadcast Awards & RTS Awards 2024, Nominated for Best Current Affairs Programme at BAFTAs 2024 | Winner of Scoop of the Year at RTS Awards 2024 | 5* from the Guardian, Independent and Telegraph) and The Clinic about the rise and fall of Tavistock's controversial Gender Identity Development Service for ITV Exposure (Winner of British Journalism Award 2023 for Health and Life Sciences | 4* from the Guardian and Telegraph).

I also have extensive development experience, having generated original ideas in areas including current affairs, politics, history, music and sports which have been commissioned or turned into paid development by major broadcasters and SVODs, including BBC, Channel 4 and Netflix. This has typically involved securing and managing access to high-profile and sensitive contributors, conducting original journalism and drafting treatments. I am also confident handling projects with complicated legal and compliance issues. 

Before working in documentaries, I was an Employment & Safeguarding lawyer at the law firm Farrer & Co, where I advised some of the UK’s top schools, universities and charities. I also have a Broadcast Journalism masters from City University and an English undergraduate degree from Oxford University.

I am a Broadcast Hot Shot 2025-26 and was one of 25 selected from thousands across scripted and unscripted for Visionaries, formerly Ones to Watch (TV Foundation & Edinburgh TV Festival) 2024-25 as one of TV's rising stars, where BBC Docs Commissioner Emma Loach is mentoring me. I was one of this year's five Channel 4 First Cut finalists, shooting, directing, producing and pitching a short to commissioners, directors and execs at Sheffield DocFest.

I was on the jury for the Amplify x New Voices Awards 2025, selected for the competitive Soho Fellowship and shortlisted for the top 25 from thousands to direct a short film for Netflix's Documentary Talent Fund 2024. I am also a Rising Waves ESEA and The Network mentor and have been mentored by Babita Bahal, Group Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Fremantle as part of the Wonder Women TV scheme.
