Hi there!

I’m Deniz, a Senior Editor, Director, and Photographer with 15 years of editing experience and 23 years immersed in the film industry.

I love crafting compelling narratives across short and long-form drama, TV factual formats, and commercials. Whether I'm crafting compelling scripted narratives, shaping powerful documentaries, or creating high-impact social content and cinematic title sequences, I bring stories to life with precision, creativity, and depth.

Some career highlights? I was the Title Sequence Editor for True Detective: Night Country (HBO) and A Discovery of Witches (Amazon Prime) and contributed as an editor on three seasons of Channel 4’s documentary series Narrow Escapes, which explores the lives of boat-dwellers. On the scripted side, my work includes the feature Crimean and the award-winning shorts Room 5 and My Mother’s Son, both recognized at film festivals worldwide.

I’m also skilled in color grading and sound mixing, meaning I can deliver a polished final product from one set of hands. My strong home setup allows me to work remotely, but I’m equally happy in a buzzing edit suite. Plus, with my own camera kit, I take on directing, videography, and photography projects, adding even more creative flair to my work.
