After graduating from Kino Eyes: The European Film Masters with a specialisation in production in 2023, I relocated to London and currently work at MUBI as the Executive Assistant to the Founder and CEO, Mr Efe Cakarel.

As a film producer, "Below the Window", my recent short film shot in Ireland with an international crew has been shortlisted for this year's Sony Future Filmmaker Awards organised by Sony Pictures Entertainment. Among 8,400 submissions across the globe, only 30 shorts were selected.

My previous short film "Fado Menor" (2021), which I produced in Portugal, was selected by more than 20 film festivals across five continents, including the GAZE International LGBT Film Festival and the Melbourne Queer Film Festival.

Before my journey to Europe, I was active in the Hong Kong film industry. I co-wrote my debut screenwriting feature with the director for "Wish Comes True" (2023) and served as the production manager of an independent feature film, "May You Stay Forever Young" (2021), which won the NETPAC Award at the Golden Horse Film Festival in 2021. 

Apart from the creative and production side, I also gained experience in the distribution sector by working at the global production and distribution company Keshet International from 2018 to 2019. 

As a filmmaker, I dedicate myself to telling stories that are worth telling, especially for those who are unable to narrate them themselves. I believe good storytelling connects human beings through emotional impact regardless of who they are and where they come from. Read Less
