Whilst I left this position in 2022 to pursue a freelance career, this experience gave me valuable insight into video production techniques, allowing me to specialise in producing short form video content for social media, education, marketing and recruitment purposes.
Thanks to my training in communications and PR, I have a history of building effective working relationships with clients, listening carefully to their needs and regularly liaising with them throughout the entire production process. Whilst I often worked independently, I also have considerable experience of team working alongside directors, producers, marketing specialists and photographers. I am well used to meeting deadlines and do so with maximum efficiency, ensuring that any film I work on is of the highest quality no matter how quickly it has to be turned around for release.
From my previous employment through to freelance life I have worked on a wide range of productions, from social media clips, marketing and recruitment videos to web series and TV documentaries. I have shot and edited videos for large UK & Ireland based corporations including (but not limited to) BBC Bitesize, Galen LTD, Lidl and MCS Group, and have also worked in camera and editing roles in television with broadcasters such as UTV and RTÉ.
