I am currently working as a Freelance Script Reader for India Flint, a producer at Working Title, after doing a development internship and some assistant work there. This role has been so useful to hone my critical reading skills and a joy to get to read a wide range of scripts, short stories, novels and plays. As well as script coverage and general errands, these included managing her diary, directing calls, keeping records of her expenses and creating invoices for her. Doing this work for a producer without her own team helped me learn the importance of competent administration and an organised diary. This allowed time for her to set up as many development opportunities as possible and have several projects in various stages on the go at once, which I know is crucial since the chances of each one getting made are so low. Having had a taste of this work, I am now looking for a perminant role within a Production Company Read Less
