I'm an award-winning producer, director, and writer. I have 24 years' producing experience across all forms of content in film, TV and commercials, both documentary and drama. I have filmed in over 20 countries, often documenting community projects in developing countries. I have produced over 150 commercials, brand films and films for charities and NGOs, for clients such as Mastercard, Wimbledon Tennis, Barclays, Google, YouTube, and charities including Bob Geldof's Band Aid. I have worked as Executive Producer and Producer on multi-platform, integrated campaigns for major global brands, often with celebrity talent. I am experienced and comfortable on both the agency and production company sides of production.

My first feature-length documentary as director/producer/writer, ‘Children of the Snow Land’, won the BIFA Raindance Discovery Award 2019. It had 60 UK cinema screenings, championed by Curzon, and TV broadcasts included Arte, NHK and BBC World. The film also screened at over 40 film festivals worldwide. I also ran the impact campaign for the film, which led to setting up an NGO to support young people in Nepal with Dame Joanna Lumley as patron.

My earlier short films as Producer won awards at Berlin Film Festival, London Film Festival, European Film Awards and Telluride.

Before I moved behind the camera, I began my career as an actress. I am therefore very comfortable directing talent.

Most recently, I directed, wrote and produced ‘Morning Star’, a 30 minute period drama based on a true story of love in wartime Malta.

I've been featured on BBC Woman’s Hour, I'm a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a BAFTA and BIFA voter, and I have lectured on cinema and human rights advocacy. Read Less
