I worked with Beckie as a Producer Director for our Blue Peter Specials filmed in lockdown and also as our Blue Peter live Studio Producer and she did a great job in both roles. Beckie is always creatively ambitious and motivated to deliver the best possible show for our young audiences. She worked with children and vulnerable contributors and secured high profile talent as contributors in her specials. She successfully managed relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as Comic Relief and Produced the creative stunt of the show becoming ‘Red Peter’ – an idea that caught attention of the press, delivering a peak audience for the show and fantastic engagement on the CBBC website. Beckie has energy and enthusiasm that inspires, engages, and creatively challenges her team. She is a skilled and experienced team leader, being inclusive and nurturing talent on and off screen. I admire how Beckie gives honest feedback, shares her extensive knowledge and experience of Production and takes on a role as a mentor offering support across the team. Beckie is full of ideas, she’s hard working and has great attention to detail in her work and encourages excellence from others, she was very much appreciated as a key member of the team when we worked together.
