I am a motivated, organised and outgoing professional with extensive experience in broadcast television. Over the past five years, I have worked across a variety of factual, entertainment and children’s productions for major UK broadcasters including Channel 5 and ITV. This experience has developed my ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate people and resources, and deliver work to tight deadlines while maintaining a calm and professional approach under pressure.
In my current role as a Junior Production Manager, I have taken responsibility for a wide range of production management duties, including budgeting, scheduling, logistics, location filming, crew and contributor coordination, production paperwork, compliance, health and safety, insurance and delivery. I have managed complex projects involving multiple teams and locations, including the casting and licensing of 160 children across 40 filming locations, as well as coordinating international travel, accommodation, filming permits and carnets. I am confident working with large amounts of information and understand the importance of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail when managing a busy production.
My experience has also given me strong communication and relationship-building skills. I have worked closely with producers, directors, editors, executive producers, crew, contributors, broadcasters and external suppliers, and I am comfortable communicating with people at all levels. I pride myself on being approachable and friendly, while also being confident in voicing my ideas and making informed decisions when required. I understand the importance of building positive working relationships and creating an environment where colleagues, contributors and clients feel comfortable and supported.
I am highly adaptable and enjoy working in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same. Whether coordinating a large-scale live production, managing post-production, organising international logistics or dealing with last-minute changes, I am able to remain composed, prioritise effectively and find practical solutions. My broadcast experience has taught me to anticipate potential issues, work proactively and take responsibility for seeing tasks through from initial planning to completion.
Alongside my professional experience, I have completed relevant ScreenSkills training in safeguarding, sustainability and workplace wellbeing, as well as risk awareness and safety training and Emergency First Aid at Work. I hold a full DBS certificate and a full clean driving licence with access to my own vehicle and business insurance.
I am now looking to bring my strong organisational, communication and coordination skills to a new opportunity where I can continue to develop professionally, take on responsibility and make a positive contribution to a team. I am reliable, hardworking and personable, with a genuine enthusiasm for learning new skills and taking on new challenges.
