Born in Rome and raised in Toronto, Massimo Amici started out as an art director at agencies such as Y&R, Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann and more (his own as well).

He transitioned into film and went on to direct his first award-winning short, “Acaluma”. Additional shorts received prizes in Europe and abroad, including Best Short Film at the Queens International Film Festival in New York.

He’s made films in the US, UK, Italy, Colombia, Argentina, and worked throughout Europe and New Zealand. Massimo equally enjoys being behind the camera and in the editing suite, where it all comes together.

Based in London, Massimo continues to develop narrative films while helping brands tell their story to the world. Read Less
