I was proud to earn a place on the highly competitive Channel 4 Production Training Scheme in 2022 as a Researcher. Since then, I have built a versatile career working across quizzes, crafts, property, and factual entertainment programming. I have developed strong and wide-ranging skills in casting, development, tasks, and archive. 

With hands-on experience across both studio and location environments, I have been responsible for casting and targeting contributors, conducting in-depth interviews, and editing casting tapes. I have managed sensitive background checks and supported contributors with varying needs, including logging and managing welfare conversations to ensure a safe and inclusive production environment. 

I’m passionate about casting and aim to progress further in this area, with a particular focus on contributor welfare.

I bring strong experience in developing and writing treatments, creating pitch decks, and editing taster tapes. I've been an active contributor to creative brainstorming sessions and have played a key role in talent and location scouting, delivering detailed, thoroughly researched, and fact-checked documents to support production and editorial decisions.

On location, I have supported shoots by ensuring all key action and interviews are captured, often taking the lead in engaging with contributors. I have established strong relationships with a wide range of organisations and businesses, whether sourcing sensitive or specialist materials for programming, or pitching bespoke, contributor-created content.

My work is underpinned by a strong research foundation, including archive and ancestry research, which I've used to uncover compelling stories and ensure editorial accuracy and depth across projects. Read Less
