I am an Arabic-speaking journalist and communications professional with 17 years of experience in international contexts.


A storyteller, producer, and communications professional, I have a degree in Publishing and two Post Graduate Diplomas in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from London.


I am working as an International Assignment Editor at CGTN in Beijing. 
 

I have a solid understanding of the global trends in politics, finance, economy, energy, technology, environment, culture and the arts with their complexities and multi-faceted implications.


An award-winning journalist, I have direct experience managing teams and covering humanitarian issues in Iraq, the war and refugee crisis in Syria (Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon), and complex cultural, political and economic matters in EMEA.


Always a team player working in multicultural environments, my work as a broadcast journalist was part of the BBC News at Ten which won a BAFTA for its Middle East coverage.
