An award winning composer for film, TV, and theatre productions, working in a purpose built studio with the facitlies to conceive, undertake, and deliver projects using current sound software packages via PC and related equipment, as well as the faciltiy to record audio such as VOs, ADR and the recording of live acoustic intruments (if required). 

Dale has extensive experience scoring for dramas of all genres, delivering high quality bespoked music that perfectly suits the visuals. He has an instinctive skill to hear where and when music is needed, what style and mood, and is always keen to find the 'key' to any story and create appropriate melodies or motifs to help tell the story, whether it be a ten minute short, or a two hour feature. 

While he can compose in any style and with any arrangement of sounds, his greatest passion and strength lies in composing orchestral based music, and has over the years honed his skills to create a realistic orchestral sound using sample based software. He also has a flair for orchestral/electronica combinations, and has demonstrated a unique skill for scoring horror films. 

He is very good at communication, works well under pressure and has experience working to deadlines, and can translate the emotional content of visual content into meaningful music with empathy, and deliver it on time. To date, he has never missed any deadlines, or failed to deliver music beyond the expectations of his clients.

Above all, he prides himself in striving to create original and unique music with every project he undertakes.

During periods of little or no commissioned work, Dale also writes music for a number of libraries (with successful sync placements across the globe) and writes and releases his own album work, as well as continuing to improve his orchstration skills.
