If you’re looking for someone who has a diverse skill set, enthusiasm for creative projects and a knack for solving problems, I think we may be a perfect match.For two years, I studied at BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy which is a specialist college based in Birmingham. Across the two years, I had the opportunity to dive into all aspects of production from creating a music video, advertisement, mockumentary, multi-cam show, documentary and many more. I’ve learned all the ins and outs of the industry and developed a hands-on approach to storytelling, filming and editing. These experiences have given me the confidence to contribute creatively to any project and handle whatever challenges come my way no matter how messy they get, (I’ve learned that things rarely go as planned, but that’s half the fun.)In addition to my school projects, I worked and still to this day work as a digital content creator for my Mum who’s a travel blogger and digital creator. I help her brainstorm creative ideas for her videos – everything from shot composition to the script and overall vibe. I also assist with editing, adding graphics and colour grading to make sure everything looks appealing to audiences. This role has given me the opportunity to flex my creativity while also learning the ropes of content creation and storytelling in a real-world setting. It’s not every day that you can call your Mum your boss – but I wouldn’t change it or anything. (Mostly because she gives me free food.)I’ve also had the chance to work in my family’s photobooth business, where I set up equipment, worked with clients and made sure everything ran smoothly. It taught me the importance of communication, problem-solving and staying calm when things get hectic (meaning children stealing props from the table.) However, as stated before, this is all the key to production and it makes every job enjoyable.I’m eager to bring my creativity and adaptable mindset to the production industry. I truly believe that my diverse background, from hands-on film production experience to working with clients and learning the ropes of industry in the real world, makes me an ideal crew member for you.
