I am happy working on Film and Television programming, both live and pre-recorded. Since 2004 I have been working on Film and TV shows for Children and Adults. Be it Comedy, Sports, Drama, Documentaries, Fixed Rig, Game Shows, Magazine, Agricultural, Music, Religious, and Reality shows. Between 2007 and 2015, I mainly specialised in children's programming for S4C (Welsh Channel 4). Since going freelance in 2015, I have worked on everything from The NATO Summit in Cardiff to the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
With a focus on Drama, I pride focus on getting the best possible sound whilst keeping positive interdepartmental relations.
More recently, I have been focusing more on Drama work. The most recent has been the second unit on Sex Education Season 4 for Starco TV/Netflix, Daylies on "The Way" and "Industry", and a short independent film called Mauled by a Dog.
In 2021 I served as Second unit Sound Recordist for the Netflix Film Havoc for 11 weeks with Severn Screen under directors Gareth Evans and Xavier Gens, and executive producer and star Tom Hardy. This all happened under the watchful eye of line producer Sarah Dibsdall.
I was also involved in the Second and Main Unit Sound Recording of Season 3 of Craith/Hidden for S4C and the BBC.
I am very proud of my work on a documentary for BBC, shot throughout 2022. A very technically challenging Music and Dance documentary following the career and life of Brothers in Dance: Anthony and Kel Matsena. Including the final dance segment. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0016smb/brothers-in-dance-anthony-and-kel-matsena
Another recent highlight was recording sound for an episode of Songs of Praise with award-winning virtuoso cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason as he performed live on location an instrumental version of Leonard Cohen's classic 'Hallelujah'.
