Hi there and thank you for viewing my profile. My name's Paul and I'm an Editor.

I'm a near 20-year TV veteran and I've been editing for 15 years.

I have an unusually varied editing CV across unscripted and scripted television; from £10m+ an episode action sci-fi to wildly popular US cookery shows, fast turnaround live OB's, network drama character pieces, some of the very best of British specialist factual and many hours cutting some of the country's favourite soaps.

I have a theory* that my CV is a prospecitve employers nightmare because of how diverse it is. Fret not though, it's oddness is absolutely a benefit, I promise!

I pride myself on being able to draw from all my different experiences across platforms to offer up something different, always interesting and I think (i hope!) never dull, because ultimately TV's about entertaining, isn't it? 

No matter the genre, style of show, budget or timescale I approach every job enthusiastically, creatively, I work every note (editing's more fun bouncing ideas off one another and nothing is impossible - don't let them tell you otherwise!) and I always cut my cloth accordingly.
