I am a hard-working, fast-learning and motivated individual who is eager to embrace any 

opportunity to become part of a production team in television and film. Being a creative 

person all my life, I pursued a degree in photography after leaving school. Interested in the history of photography as a medium and its significance in the development of motion picture, I undertook further study in this field. Although I had originally planned that I would move into an academic career after my studies, I have made the decision to fully turn my attention and energy into pursuing a career in visual media to fulfil my creative instincts.

I believe that my photographic training and knowledge prepares me well for a role on set 

behind the camera. Alongside this, I have developed skills through my previous work 

experiences that I believe are directly transferable to this line of work. As part of small teams I have discovered the importance of maintaining clear lines of communication and good working relationships with my colleagues to ensure the smooth running of tasks and events throughout the day. I take great enjoyment out of working collaboratively towards collective goals as part of a team, but also working independently with confidence. I have demonstrated in my previous roles that I am adaptable, reliable and conscientious; I am able to work under pressure and manage my time effectively without compromising on the care, accuracy and quality of my work.

Although I would find any job behind-the-scenes a fulfilling experience, I am hoping to one day pursue a career in camera operation.
