My ambition is to research and produce feature documentaries. I have a passion and intellectual interest for uncovering fascinating and unique stories, in an artistic form. This summer I graduated from the University of Leeds with a high 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Liberal Arts, majoring in Philosophy, and I got a First for my dissertation on Simone De Beauvoir, ‘Can Beauvoir’s Account on Gender and Freedom Justify Why the Patriarchy is Harmful to Men’. My degree at Leeds provided me with a rigorous education, and also taught me key transferable skills that I would love to utilise within the TV industry. Moreover, due to the challenges of my unconventional elite sports pathway - which led me to play golf for England and on the US collegiate circuit - as well as living in Australia during my Study Year Abroad, I have more life experience than many my age. I also have a keen interest in the world outside our small island, and am confident in experimenting and translating abstract concepts into a viewer friendly product.
