I am a Glasgow based Researcher who has had the opportunity to work across different genres of television with experience in location, studio and office based roles. I am a people person who excels in communication and building relationships with both contributors and crew.
Most of my experience has been in contributor and talent facing roles where I have assisted in choosing the best suited contributor to appear on camera as well as working closely with talent, helping to coordinate and prep them for filming. I have had opportunities where I have been able to expand on my story finding skills through planning visits, gaining access to locations for filming and speaking to contributors, however I am keen to expand on this experience. I have been fortunate enough to work on high turnover location shows where I have been able to demonstrate my skills as a hard working & versatile individual.
I am confident maintaining and rigging equipment (Sony FX6 and FX9) as well as using radio mics (Sony, Lectrosonic, Sennheiser, etc). I am looking for the opportunity to expand on my knowledge and help develop stories through the role of a Researcher, where I can showcase my extensive people skills and develop editorial experience.
