I am a recent graduate from the Film Production course at the University of Derby and my speciality remains within the lighting department. During the time of my studies I have worked on over 30 paid and un-paid productions from the companies New Tropic Pictures, Picture Locked LTD, Strange and Beautiful Productions and Really Cool Films LTD.

I have found my passion is within lighting and working as a Spark/Best Boy and I strive to take this further out of education and now into the film industry. My work has been rewarded with the Dean's choice award at the university and I spent my 3rd and final year creating a project revolving around recreating the painterly light used within classical painters such as Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Peter Paul Rubens and more. This project got me studying the work of Jack Cardiff and trying and succeeding at bringing that painterly light off the canvas and onto the cinema screen.

Using light to tell the stories within scenes interests me hugely and I love to work and improve my own skills with every project I work on - It is my passion in life.
