I have over 5+ years of experience in film directing, producing, and editing projects in countries such as the U.S., China and the U.K. I enjoy story-telling and drawing inspiration from my travels and through the people that I meet. My extensive  portfolio covers subject areas that are thought-provoking and are made with the mindset of using empathy as a tool in my work. Two of my films were screened and nominated at international film festivals: documentary "Playing Cupid" - Los Angeles Women's International Festival (2017) and short narrative "Waterfall" - Glendale International Film Festival (2018). Currently, Yiwa is preparing for two photography and film exhibitions coming up for 'Finding Home,' which focuses on asylum seekers living in London.  Read Less
