I've worked in film, documentary and factual entertainment, fashion (commercial and editorial), music videos and academia. My varied career has given me a unique skill set; I have vigorous research capabilities and have worked with diverse historical, scientific and cultural perspectives. I have strong journalistic abilities and can identify and develop captivating narratives, as well as unearthing unique and interesting contributors.
Experienced in development, I am adept at pinpointing story beats and investigating archives as well as writing briefs, breakdowns and pitches. I have experience location scouting, setting up recces and co-ordinating shoots. Moreover, I'm proficient in interview directing and producing, as well as negotiating access; often within sensitive environments and with vulnerable individuals. I'm experienced in navigating these delicate situations, and understand the importance of building and maintaining trusting relationships with these contributors, ensuring our duty of care.
I've worked with clients such as Bumble, Refinery 29, H + M, Google, Sainsbury's, Adidas and eBay, as well as Vogue, I-D Magazine and British GQ Style. I've worked alongside designers Priya Aluwahlia, Kiko Kostadinov, Per Gottesson and Phoebe English, plus artists including The Specials, Sam Fender and Jorja Smith. I was part of the casting team for Riz Ahmed and Aniel Karia's short film A Long Goodbye (2020) which won the award for 'Best Live Action Short' at the 2022 Oscars. I've also worked on documentary and feature films for Channel 4, BBC, BFI and Investigation Discovery.
