Originally from an adventure industry background, I have operated for 30 years as a professional expedition guide leading expeditions all over the globe in some of the remotest places on the planet.

I was introduced to my first work with production companies in 2006 as fixer, logistics manager and expedition guide for Discovery Channel as the first westerners to travel through and explore remote regions of Bhutan under royal invitation.

My business, Adventure Consultancy Worldwide Limited, has supported numerous production teams over recent years and has led to various roles with production firms including Amazon Prime, Netflix, Sky TV, National Geographic, Disney, BBC. This includes;
* Pre production crew training (working in or near water, ice, at height and other challenging environments for shoots)
* Health and safety advisor
* Specialist location safety (supplying a qualified team and safety equipment)
* Expedition consultant
* Location research/recces
* Lead film fixers (in particular in Bhutan and Nepal with their unique cultures)
* Expedition and remote location management
* Logistics

We have supported productions all over the UK and Europe plus Cambodia, Vietnam, Madagascar, Mauritania, Scandinavia, Bhutan, Nepal and Zimbabwe to name a few. We are experienced at working with production teams and crews at all stages of filming, and are qualified internationally to work at altitude, on water, in jungles and on polar ice caps etc.

My team comprise a highly experienced internationally qualified group of professionals who also train the emergency services, military and government agencies in technical rescue. Adventure Consultancy also runs specialist training courses designed with my experience for production teams to ensure they have the basics in understanding potential filming location hazards and ensuring basic safety is in place.
