Hello. My name is Madeline Wright. 

I am very passionate about pursuing a career in film and I understand the importance of putting in the groundwork in this particular field. I have worked as a post-production coordinator for 9 months at Lipsync Post, and now would love the opportunity to use the admin and liaison skills I have gained in a more creative capacity. I believe the role of production assistant would provide an ideal opportunity to learn more broadly about the industry and the entire film production process.

In the last 8 months my responsibilities have included coordinating the post-production schedule, ensuring that tasks such as editing, sound design, visual effects, and colour grading are completed on time. I acted as a liaison between various departments involved in post-production, including editors, visual effects artists, sound designers and my communication skills were crucial in this aspect.

I am a quick learner and, having taken part in lots of theatre as part of school and university, I am used to and not intimidated by, a fast paced and high-stress environment. I am aware of the long hours being an assistant in production involves and i'm happy to dedicate a lot of my own time to support my superiors in whatever they need. I have strong organisation skills and am computer-savvy. Most of all, my communication and ability to deal with people is what i excel most at.
