British born cinematographer and shooting director, Richard Prendergast is a filmmaker with a flair for audience driven, emotive storytelling. With a career spanning more than 10 years, Richard took the natural step to become a driven self shooting director after a long and accomplished career as a DoP, bringing with him to the role a wealth of experience and knowledge.

In 2017, he co-founded SubMotion, an award winning production company where he has directed multiple TVC’s, documentaries and shorts films, with some of the worlds largest brands. His recent work has seen him BAFTA long listed, nominated for 1.4 and Young Director Award at Cannes Lions and winning a Royal Television Society award in the short film category.
