He has worked as a sound recordist for over 40 films and corporate/broadcast productions. Martin received a finalist award from the Folkestone Film Festival in 2024 in recognition of his technical skills.
Martin owns his own equipment compliant with streaming and broadcast technical standards, based on the high-end SoundDevices MixPre II recorder, Sennheiser and Sony Broadcast microphones. He can deliver a production-ready sound mix, complete with advanced noise reduction and equalisation to streamer and broadcast standards. Martin also captures Foley and ADR tracks on set for use in post production and provides comprehensive sound editing, equalisation and sound design services.
Martin provides a complete timecode solution based on the Deity digital clapperboard and timecode synchronisation devices. This significantly reduces time required for syncing video and sound files and for editing.
Martin holds an OFCOM licence for wireless mic usage and carries full equipment, Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
