My name is Joe Ockford, I am recent music technology graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, having completed my Master's degree in 2022, and am currently working as a freelance live and studio sound engineerand music tutor.

I have a deep passion for all things sound and am currently looking for both full time and freelance opportunies to expand my CV and skillset. I am particularly interested in opportunities within post-production for TV and Film, as I have aspirations to work as a dubbing mixer but am keen to gain an insight into all aspects of the post-production process.

Through my degree and freelance work I have extensive experience in both recorded and live sound and am comfortable operating a varierty of mixing consoles (SSL, Behringer, Allen&Heath, etc) and using industry standard software to produce audio content of all natures (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton, Izotope RX). I am also an avid musician and composer, having recieved classical music theory training and pop/rock training on the guitar, and am comfortable reading full scores in treble and bass clefs.
