I am an award-winning editor, producer and trainer. I have a large experience of editing short and long form films, both as craft editor and producer. I use Avid, Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro. I specialise in quality craft editing, colour grading, and sound mixing/dubbing. I am known for creative dynamic sequences, storytelling, reconstruction, and music sequences. I have edited documentaries, short films including dramatic reconstruction, promos, sport reports and features, and many fun and entertaining items. I am fast, hard working, hugely experienced and good fun to work with, so I've been told!

As well as editing I have great experience of self-shooting in planned and fluid filming environments. I build excellent rapport with contributors, experts, and talent. I have a flair for finding, following, and crafting a story. I am an experienced producer of live television, location filming and live location production.

In the last year I have been lecturing in film and television studies at Bath Spa University, teaching postproduction editing, drama editing and documentary filmmaking. 

I have worked in Broadcast News and Current Affairs for many years and as such I’m as at home with fast turnaround as I am with long form documentaries. As a journalist for many years I have sound in-depth legal knowledge, a big help for blue light, legally challenging or fixed camera programmes for example.
