I have worked across the globe, in many developing democracies and post-conflict countries, including extended stints in Russia, Ukraine, Algeria, KenyaBelarus and Kosovo. I train in all aspects of TV and radio and I currently lecture about MoJo tricks of the trade on an acclaimed online MA in journalism.
I have worked in BBC TV and radio for nearly three decades at a local, national, and international level.
At BBC World News I made award-winning documentaries from across the globe, including Papua New Guinea, Nepal, and Cambodia. I also produced and reported in the newsroom and at world events, such as elections in Afghanistan and G8 summits. I continue to self-shoot and edit features for BBC Breakfast TV, BBC Radio 4, and BBC World Service Radio.
