I recently graduated with an MA in Cinematography from USW Cardiff. Previously I attended film school at Falmouth University in Cornwall with a student exchange in Helsinki. As a midlife film student, I worked hard to build foundational skills. However my extra curricular filmmaking kept me as busy as university assignments.  In Finland, I shot my first feature-length documentary which won Best Sport Film at the International Toronto Women’s Film Festival. I feel my skills have improved quickly. I have previous life chapters that kept me working hard in the mountains in all seasons. I have experience with the Arri Classic and Mini, Sony FX6, Ursa Mini and I own a BMPC 6k Pro. I have used gimbals extensively and I hope to expand to steady cam. I also started shooting with a Super 8 and would love to step up into 16 and 35mm. I fly a Mavic 2 Drone. I edit my own footage using Premiere Pro. I feel editing has helped me shoot for the edit efficiently. I enjoy scriptwriting and have several stories both documentary and narrative I would love to develop. I hope to find work in the industry soon. I’m very open to what and where in the world! I have Canadian, American, British and Irish passports.
