Read MoreI'm an editor with very many years experience - 20 of them spent at the BBC.
I've edited a growing list of royal documentaries, including the beautifully produced,
Elizabeth II: The Unseen Photos, a 50 minute film for BBC Select released to commemorate what would have been the 100th birthday of Elizabeth II. I am frequently brought in to turn things around extremely quickly.
Royal Peacemaker: Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, a 90 minute documentary for Channel 5, was recut from scratch in eight days. I was part of a team of seven editors who delivered
5 Days That Brought Down Prince Andrew, in three days.
Due for release in January 2027, the film I'm most proud of is One Night, One Shot, One Take - The Making of Lost in London. Starring Woody Harrelson, Owen Wilson and contributions from a host of Hollywood A-listers. This 90 minute film chronicles the white knuckle ride leading up to the broadcast of the world's first live feature film.
Whilst at the BBC I was frequently asked to edit high profile output, including that notorious interview with Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
Prince Andrew and the Epstein Scandal - The Newsnight Interview was seen right around the world and won two RTS Awards, a Broadcast Award and was nominated for a BAFTA.
I was responsible for all the BBC News
obituaries for actors, rock stars and world leaders including
Queen Elizabeth II and
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
I have extensive knowledge of archive footage of the Royal family, from the coronation of George VI to the funeral of Elizabeth II.
I've edited award
-winning pieces for Newsnight and short
features for the
Royal Opera House streamed to cinemas around the world.
I'm privileged to be involved with Oxford University chronicling a six year archaelogical project in Mongolia and China. I've created several short films for
The Horsepower Project and hopefully this will culminate with a feature documentary in 2029.
For 16 years I crafted the '
We Remember' reviews of the year on BBC News (2007 - 2022) looking back at the notable people who have died during the preceding year. Each year created a challenge to meld a pile of random clips into a seamless half hour of television. In 2016 this was extended to two half hours due to the volume of stars that were lost that year.
I enjoy multicamera editing and have used these skills on in-depth interviews, such as
The Big Interview with Nick Cave, and also the light-hearted, nostalgic, pub-with-a-pint-style
Gerry Anderson Podcast.
I'm a reliable, safe pair of hands who combines creativity with technical ability and attention to detail even under extreme pressure. Chosen to edit the nine minute report on the
funeral of Queen Elizabeth II that immediately followed the live broadcast. Calm, level-headed and good humoured in the cutting room.
Highly skilled with Avid Media Composer, Premier Pro, FCP and Qube. Learned the craft of editing in the cutting rooms of some of the UK's finest drama editors, alongside big-name directors including Charles Sturridge and John Glen.
I live 25 minutes from Central London outside the M25.
