I am the first female Film Director in the United Arab Emirates.

In 2021, I devised a concept that gained global media attention, and it will soon become an anthology series titled "The Alexandria Killings," with Oscar-winning director Terry George at the helm. I will serve as the Executive Producer and I have been given the opportunity to direct some of the episodes.

My latest film, "The Shadow," which is currently streaming on Netflix worldwide, has caught the attention of renowned producers and is currently in post-production as a full-length feature called "Three," set for release in Q4 2023. This will be my debut feature film.

I am currently scheduled to direct a Fantasy/Drama film titled "BAAB," where Two times Oscar Winner AR Rahman will be in charge of the musical score. Additionally, I am working on a family adventure film titled "Magic Carpet - The Search for Now."

The space for women to Direct in the Gulf region is extremely tight and I have joined The Talent Manager to connect with new potential clients from all around the world as I am flexible to be anywhere, I am particularly interested in Psychological dramas, Horrors and Thrillers and I also have extensive experience Directing TV commercials and or branded content.

My fluency in Gulf dialects mainly Arabic and fluency in English provides me with a unique advantage when facilitating complex and sensitive projects both in the MENA region and globally. I also understand and speak Hindi.

With over 15 years of experience running a Production company, I have a full 360-degree perspective on what it takes to deliver a successful production, from creative to fiscal aspects to client servicing.

I have directed for international brands such as Mercedes, Neutrogena, Nivea and more as well as produced for high-profile clients such as Annie Leibovitz and Roger Federer. I was also appointed as the Behind-The-Scenes Director of the mega-budget film Star Trek 3 by the Dubai Government.

I am humbled to have received many accolades and awards throughout my career, including being listed as one of the Top 50 most powerful personalities in Arab Cinema by Variety, Top 100 most powerful Arabs under 40 by Arabian Business, Visionary of the Year Award at the Arabian Business Awards, Businesswoman of the Year - Gulf Business Awards 2020, Black Swan Award for Women Empowerment - Asia One 2019, and Entrepreneur of the Year during the Gulf Business Awards 2017.
