I am an experienced London-based shooting researcher and documentary filmmaker. In pre production, I have experience in casting contributors, sourcing archive, rigorous fact checking and developing stories. On location, setting up locations for interviews, looking after talent, following and logging the action. I am proud to have been part of this year’s competitive Amplify Production Talent Scheme at Sheffield DocFest, on the merits of my accomplishments across my on-set roles and documentary portfolio.

My most recent role provided a wealth of experience in short-form documentary storytelling. I’ve shot and directed films for charities that support survivors of gender-based violence and explored complex themes like eugenics. These experiences taught me how to work with vulnerable contributors and handle sensitive subjects with care.

I hold a first-class BA degree from Goldsmiths University in Media and Communications specialising in documentary film and my final project won best documentary at an international film festival.  I have undertaken training in cinematography at Raindance Film School and archive researching at Four Corners. I drive (including vans), am first aid trained and have an enhanced DBS.
