My name is Devon Coetzee Male and I am a passionate visual storyteller, who is willing to go the extra mile for the story or concept being told.

I am a recent award winning editor and First-Class, deans list, graduate from AFDA's; Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture Medium(Hons).

I have a deep passion for learning and growing my narrative capabilities. With proficient experience within the creative cloud suites, Avid Media composer and Davinci Resolve. I utilize such programs for various creative endeavors such as editing, sound design, colour correction or visual effects/graphic design.

I would label myself as a good fit for any company. I am consistent in my desire to continually learn, fail and improve. I often work best with teams that have like minded goals and desires to better certain content or concepts.

Working with large crews, and plentiful information in regard to a production has allowed me to maintain a high level of constant organization and focus. Had I not, as a student editorial post production supervisor, the production would certainly fall to the thropes of a hindered workflow and backlog multiple other departments such as Color Correction, Sound Design or even Musical composition.

Therefore, it was essential to practice orderly grace within my technical practice of the piece and furthermore, was critical to aid upcoming post members. This was often highlighted through extensive notes that had to be specifically saved and filed for later use.
