Saffron Akira King is an Assistant Script Editor on the UK’s longest running soap Coronation Street. Saffron has previously also worked on BBC EastEnders and BBC Doctors within the editorial department. In addition, Saffron has worked on a BFI funded short film titled Results Day as a Script Supervisor.Saffron studied at Birmingham City University for 4 years receiving a BA Hons in Media and Communications; and a Master of Science in Management and Entrepreneurship. Saffron is passionate and committed about sharing real-life stories through visual art. From the age of around 9 years old, Saffron would write scripts and short stories.
