I specialise in Producing and Directing Documentaries which are community and collaboratively driven. My upbringing in Huddersfield and the people I have grown up around have had a massive influence upon my work. In homage to my youth, a large portion of my work is made in my hometown and surrounding areas of the North of Britain. Exploring British culture is fundamental to my practice and this personal work has led me to explore the connection between identity and place in numerous documentaries and photographic projects.I am particularly interested in authentic and ethical working class representation and issues of diversity within society. I show these issues through a cinematic eye to capture a raw reality intertwined with poetic narratives as an often self producing and self shooting director.Currently searching for Researching and AP roles.
