I am a Fashion and Textiles Designer/Maker and have been working freelance in the Fashion and Entertainment Industry here in London since September 2011 as Maker/Designer, Sample Machinist/Seamstress, Pattern-Cutter, Fitter and Dresser. Over the last few years I have gotten more interested in working in TV or Film. It seems to be more collaborative and the result seems to have more longevity. I do love the buzz on the set of a video/photoshoot, backstage at Fashion Week or in a label's studio and see all departments working towards a main vision. I equally enjoy working to a brief in my own studio, be it weeks or days to the deadline. It is truly fascinating how many levels there are to the fashion and entertainment industry and how interlinked they are. I would love to transfer and expand my skills in the TV and Film sector.
