Read MoreI started editing in the 90’s, cutting documentaries for television. After a couple of years I moved into creating original content for theatre, (the Royal Shakespeare Company) where my roles included filming interviews with actors; producing, shooting and editing scenes from current performances for marketing and publicity. But most importantly I was given the opportunity to create live action and animated scenery and backdrops for some of the most iconic performances, including Macbeth, Hamlet and The Tempest (see below). I also produced, directed and edited four short films each year with the help of the RSC acting company.I moved to London in 2007 where I became Head of Post for a small independent film company where I was responsible all aspects of post production across a wide range of projects including short films, features and documentaries.In 2010 I became a freelance editor and director focussing primarily on TVCs and online content for a wide range of brands including Nike, McDonald’s, NSPCC, eBay, Boden, Jaguar, Land Rover, Chanel, Canon, DHL, Volvo and Vodafone and working with agencies including AKQA, Adam&Eve, Cheil, Grey London, M&C Saatchi, McCann London, Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA and VCCP.As well as editing and directing, I have also produced, filmed and edited documentaries for private individuals working mainly in the arts. In 2011 I was asked by the Sainsbury Family to create a number of documentaries based around an important architectural project in Cambridge that went on to win the coveted RIBA Sterling Prize for Architecture in 2012. I have also produced films for Royal Academy artists including Alan Cotton, Norman Ackroyd and Susanna Heron.In my spare time I have written and directed two short films and I am in the process of writing a feature length script.
